Assistive Listening Systems

Counter communication system for banks, airports, railway stations etc.

Counter communication system

OtiC counter communication system
OtiC is a counter communication system developed to improve communication between customers and customer service at banks, bus and railway stations, airports, and other public places.

It is often difficult to conduct a conversation in public places due to too much background noise, poor acoustics, or glass barriers. It is easy to lose necessary information and have misunderstandings, particularly for those with hearing impairment. OtiC ensures that speech is transmitted directly into the listener's ear so important messages are understood.

The OtiC solution
Customer service talks into a goose neck microphone and the listener hears the voice directly, either through the magnetic field from the loop pad or room loop when the hearing aid is set to T-position (telecoil) or directly in the telephone receiver if the user does not have a hearing aid. This way, the user experiences improved communication and the customer service doesn't have to strain the voice to be heard above the background noise.

OtiC is comes with a goose neck microphone, a counter loop pad, a room loop and a telephone receiver with a built-in telecoil. The receiver solution works for all users, while the loop pad and the room loop is developed for hearing aid users with a T-position (telecoil).
